Disappointment at St Jude's traffic-calming survey results

South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has said that he is disappointed that a Roads Service survey carried out to assess the need for traffic-calming measures on St Jude's Parade has concluded that the area does not have the required volume or speed of traffic to justify the installation of traffic-calming measures. Adelaide Park traffic calming moves a step closer

South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey and Balmoral Sinn Féin representative Vincent Parker have welcomed confirmation from the Roads Service that Adelaide Park has been given a high prioritisation in relation to the need for traffic calming measures. This high prioritisation occurred after Sinn Féin made representations to the Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy MP and the Roads Service. Read full article

Maskey calls for complete ban on plastic bullets

Parker welcomes 'Stop and Search' ruling

Balmoral Sinn Fín representative Vincent Parker has welcomed this week's decision by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to reject the British government's final appeal over the use of Stop and Search powers under Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000, and he has called for their immediate suspension.
