Ó Donnghaile condemns sectarian attack on youth club minibus

Sinn Féin Representative for east Belfast Niall Ó Donnghaile has condemned those responsible for last night's sectarian attack on a minibus used by the Doyle Youth Club from the Short Strand. The bus was attacked while children from the club, aged between 12 and 14, were playing a football match in Victoria Park. Read full article

Responding to comments by a Department of Social Development (DSD) spokesman, South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has accused the DSD of a kneejerk reaction to his comments in relation to the Environmental Improvement Scheme in the Market area and has called upon the DSD to stop misrepresenting his comments and to deal with the issue of when the people of the Market can expect this important scheme to be delivered in an area which is acknowledged as having high priority needs.
