Ó Donnghaile comments in advance of Short Strand 'anti-drugs' rally

East Belfast Sinn Féin representative Niall Ó Donnghaile, speaking in advance of tonight's Short Strand Safer Neighbourhood Project (SNP) rally against drug dealing in the area, has commended the ongoing work of those involved in the SNP in the area and has said that local people are fed up with the level or drug abuse and dealing which is going on. Appeal to stop hoax calls the Emergency services

Balmoral Sinn Féin representative Stiofan Long has appealed to those making hoax calls to the emergency services to stop. Mr Long's call comes after it was revealed there was, on average, 130 hoax calls made to the emergency services in the North each week. Read full article

British Government failing to reach targets on Child poverty

South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has reacted to a new report by the charity Barnardos on child poverty that found that if the British Government is to succeed in its efforts to get one million children out of deprivation by the end of the decade they will have to spend an extra £3.8billion. East Belfast Sinn Féin representative Niall Ó Donnghaile has vowed to continue to campaign for much needed social housing for the East Belfast area and has said that the Party will be lobbying on this issue in the Assembly. Worrying rise in the use of Cocaine needs tackled

Bank ruling vindicates Consumer Council 'super complaint'
